Local Service Area
Graham was laid out in 1849 as the seat of the brand new Alamance County and named for William Alexander Graham, a senator and governor. The Alamance County Courthouse is on the National Register, along with the Graham Historic District and the North Main Street Historic District, and the Haw River runs along the city's eastern edge. On a brick home and garage, soft warm white along both rooflines ties the two together after dark, and the schedule runs on its own from dusk to dawn.
