Local Service Area
Huntersville started out as Craighead and took its name from Robert Boston Hunter, a local cotton farmer, when it incorporated in 1873. These days it answers to H-Town, with Latta Place and the Hugh Torance House keeping the old days on view, and the Carolina Renaissance Festival taking over October and November weekends. A lot of life here happens out back. Warm white track along the patio roofline, at 72 lumens per light, keeps a pool and covered patio like this one glowing after sunset, and the schedule switches it on at dusk without anyone touching a thing.
